About Northstar Continuing Education
Welcome to Northstar Continuing Education! For the past ten years, Northstar Continuing Education offers independent study classes on the most current topics of interest to educational professionals. In partnership with Colorado State University-Pueblo, CO, we provide educators graduate level classes for professional advancement, licensure renewal, and salary promotion.
Our classes are designed with your convenience and professional development in mind. There are no classroom lectures to attend, no driving long distances to a far away campus, no mental fatigue from attending 3 hours of lecture after you’ve taught all day and no sacrificing your precious weekends to attend classes!
Class formats consist of reading the assigned textbook and articles and developing lesson plans and/or writing essays. Students can register for classes anytime throughout the year
Our classes are specifically designed for educators wanting to increase their pay through lane changes and to acquire credit for renewing their state education licenses. All of Northstar’s continuing education classes through Colorado State University-Pueblo are regionally accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
